Bakkara Hotel - Kyiv

The hotel has an amazing and lovely setting near the beach area. It is about a 5-minute Metro ride away, making it convenient. - Great food is served at the indoor restaurant.

I loved the interior. The design of the furniture was really special.

The smell in the corridors of the 4rth floor was bad. Same smell in the bathroom on the 1st floor (I stayed in this hotel 2 times). The noise of the engines (or some technical equipment) kept me awake whole night, the doors and walls are too thin and let the outer nioses through. The palce is currently under construction so it doesn't look that friendly.

We loved the convenient location close to the metro and beach complex. The rooms had a great view of the river and were comfortable. Perfect for young families!

charged $60 for one bag of laundry. entire bathroom floods when you take a shower. too far from city center

the packed breakfast was satisfactory and with great view. location: the hotel was just off the metro station, which is about a 5 minute metro ride and a 220 volt outlet. really enjoyed early check-in and late check-out.

The location of the hotel was perfect, within a 10-15 minute walking distance from Lavra. the restaurant at the hotel was very nice and the food was good. - the hotel had functional bathrooms and decent-sized rooms. - Fairgrounds and shops were conveniently located around the hotel.

This boat hotel is not okay. The room is like glass. You can hear what's happening next door. Some kind of funny things. The breakfast is just ok.

Very small bathroom. Lack of sauna or fitness. The way to the metro station is via the park, what is not so nice during night for walking alone especially for a woman. There is a bus from the hotel to the metro and back, but in my case I used it only once as it goes very seldom.

Great location near restaurants and attractions, with a beautiful view of the river. Clean and comfortable rooms, perfect for a couple. The staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Ilya at the front desk.

The restaurant in the hotel was a bit expensive, but there are plenty of other dining options nearby. The shower rooms were a bit small, but the overall cleanliness of the hotel made up for it.

Sound isolation is poor, restaurant is pretty small: no tables available for breakfast at the rush hrs (9-10 a.m.), in standard twin rooms beds are pretty small.

A very-very nice hotel, which looks like ship on the river. The rever view rooms are very comfortable, only bathroom could be a little bit bigger. Stuff is also very nice. Very close to the center.

The only problem we had during our staying - too many people wanted to have breakfast the same time, so there were no free tables and we had to wate, it also happens because of stupid reservation, it will be much better if the hotel will stop practice to reserve tables on breakfasts.
